What began with a few trucks and one small, rented office space in Perrysburg, Ohio has grown to become a nationally recognized liquid bulk carrier—and one of the most successful in the region.
A WBENC certified woman-owned business, K-Limited was formed in January 1997 by Chief Operating Officer and President Kim Kaplan and is a family business in the truest sense of the word, with Kim’s husband Dean as the company’s CEO.
But, our environment and culture allows for a broader definition of “family.” Each employee that comes to work here becomes part of our extended K-Limited family. We believe it’s precisely our ongoing commitment to this family-focused philosophy that has served our organization and our customers well throughout the years.
Early on, we faced the lean times and struggles that plague many small businesses; however, by working together we persevered, creating the foundation for K-Limited's current strength and success, including a strong Midwest presence, with terminals in Toledo, Detroit, Chicago, Cincinnati and Cleveland.
Throughout the years, through all of the growth and changes, one simple ideal has continued to define us at K-Limited Carrier: our customer and employee concerns are always our concerns. Only through this shared and vested interest can we truly continue to be successful…together.
